Mise-En Scene making an original image

How does the way toy have constructed your image show an audience the element of Mise-En-Scene that you have focussed on?The image shows the audience most of the Mise-En-Scene because is shows all of the elements clearly. The setting is very prominent as even though it's blurred in some areas, it is easy to tell the whereabouts of the character. The character has most of his face covered but the audience can tell what he is feeling due to the expression in his eyes. The colours in the scene are mostly dark however there are areas which are quite colourful. One problem with this image is that the character's costume isn't visible which could hide some important details about the character from the audience (e.g. whether the character is a student, office worker etc.)

What can the audience read into the plot of the film based around this image? The audience may have a tough time working out what genre the movie is, however, from the facial expressions of the character and the closeness of the setting, the characters may be able to tell that the character is perhaps hiding from someone/something or that they may be searching for something due to the confused and almost frustrated expressions the character presents. The colours could tell the audience that it's quite a light-hearted movie/production, due to the appearance of bright colours, but there may be some scenes that are a bit more serious due to the darker colours.
